Two newly renovated auditoriums have been inaugurated at Azerbaijan Technological University (ATU) as part of the university-industry collaboration initiative.
During the opening ceremony, ATU’s rector Yashar Omarov, together with Sudaba Mammadova, head of the “Temas” Regional Development Public Union, and Mammadagha Bayramov, founder of "BuildX" company, reviewed the conditions created in the classrooms.
The rector emphasized the importance of university-industry relations in shaping students’ practical knowledge and skills, noting that such support contributes to the training of specialists who meet labor market demands.
Company representatives, in turn, expressed their intention to continue joint activities in future projects.
One of the classrooms, a design workshop located in the Faculty of Light Industry Engineering and Logistics, was established with the support of the “Temas” Regional Development Public Union. The workshop, created under the Department of Light Industry Engineering and Design, is fully equipped with the necessary sewing machinery and furniture.
The other classroom was established based on a memorandum of understanding signed between ATU and "BuildX" company. This 15-seat auditorium is fully equipped for conducting lessons.
