An open info-session for the scientific and higher education community of Ganja and surrounding regions was held at the Azerbaijan Technological University (ATU) by the State Agency for Science and Higher Education (EATDA).
In the opening speech, ATU’s acting Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation and Advisor for Science and Foreign Relations, Sahil Hamidov, emphasized that the main objective of the session was to enhance the quality of scientific research through artificial intelligence tools and to present more efficient methods for organizing this process. He highlighted the importance of such events in strengthening scientific potential and introducing new opportunities.
Following this, the session continued with a presentation by Nermine Abdullayeva, an employee of EATDA’s Department of Scientific Institutions. She provided insights on the effective use of the "Scopus" scientometric database and the capabilities of the "Scopus AI" artificial intelligence tool. Her presentation covered strategies for comprehensive literature and reliable journal searches within Scopus, analysis of research trends, citations, and research impact, as well as ways to optimize research time through Scopus' AI-powered tools.
At the end of the presentation, participants' questions were addressed.
