The main functions of the master's and doctorate department
1. Drawing up documents of incoming and outgoing from the department;
2. Ensuring the development and approval of state standards for specialties, working curricula;
3. Direct management of the educational process, educational work and implementation of scientific research in the Master's programme;
4. Checking the teaching load and issuing assignments for the teaching load to the departments;
5. Providing feedback to departmental lecturers by checking whether the planned teaching load is correct and giving them feedback;
6. Development of admission plans;
7. Preparation of orders for admission, expulsion, restoration, modifying the form of education, granting academic leave, transition from one academic year to another, granting scholarships;
8. Scheduling exams in accordance with the curriculum, organizing classes and sessional exams, monitoring the conduct of exams, writing off academic debts, class attendance;
9. Preparation of submission to the Rector for admission of students to the defence of final papers and master's theses at the graduation state exams;
10. Monitoring students' independent work and ensuring the creation of conditions for their scientific activities;
11. Participation in all matters related to education, teaching and science;
12. Ensuring recording of excerpts and references from minutes, orders;
13. Form and write the personal files of undergraduates, note the relevant changes in them, including incentives and disciplinary sanctions;
14. Prepare and send all statistical information on training to relevant organizations;
15. Ensure the archiving of documents that have exceeded their current storage dates.
II. DOCTORAL STUDIES AND DISSERTATIONS
1. Maintenance of records of documents received by the Division and expelled from the department;
2. Development of plans for doctoral students (dissertants);
3. Prepare and forward to the relevant organisations all statistical information on doctoral and dissertation students;
4. Preparation of admission documents;
5. Registration of documents and protocols of the competition for admission to doctoral studies;
6. Preparation of orders on admission, expulsion, reinstatement, change of the form of education, granting academic leave, transition from one academic year to another, granting scholarships;
7. Preparation of orders on approval, consolidation of dissertations and scientific leaders of doctoral students and dissertants;
8. Preparation and organization of orders for doctoral exams, preparation of certificates for doctoral exams;
9. Monitor doctoral and dissertation students' attestation (from one academic year to another) in relation to departments and to develop attestation orders;
10. Ensuring recording of excerpts and links from minutes, orders;
11. To participate in all issues concerning the teaching and scientific creative activity of doctoral students and dissertants;
12. Organization of scientific and practical conferences;
13. Formation and writing of doctoral papers, making appropriate changes to them, including rewards and disciplinary sanctions;
14. Ensure the archiving of documents that have exceeded their current retention dates.
